1. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Boboli fans are a saucy, enthusiastic bunch, so we invite you to show us how crazy you are about great pizza and football! Submit your original Boboli pizza recipe, along with an original expression of creativity that demonstrates why you deserve the status of "Most Valuable Fan." The creative expression can be in the form of a video (no longer than 2 minutes or should not exceed 20MB) OR a poem, OR an essay (poem or essay must be 250 words or fewer), OR a photo (JPEG format should not exceed 5MB) OR painting, for example. At the conclusion of the entry period, judges will determine 5 Finalist entries which will be posted online for visitors to vote to help determine the grand prize winner. Winner will be determined by a combination of voting scores and judges’ scores (see Rule 4). Some entries, which are not necessarily Finalists, may be featured on www.bobolifootball.com from time to time during the promotion period.

2. ELIGIBILITY: The "Boboli Most Valuable Fan Pizza Contest" ("Promotion") is open only to residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees and independent contractors of Bimbo Bakeries Inc., its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members (parent, child, spouse, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void in Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited by law.

3. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: From 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 9/14/09 to 11:59 p.m. ET on 11/23/09, visit www.bobolifootball.com and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the entry form and submit your recipe/creative expression entry. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on 11/23/09 to be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address per day. Each recipe/creative expression entry submission must be different. Online entries received from any person or e-mail address on any day in excess of the stated limitation will be void.

Alternate Form of Entry: Or, you may mail your contest entry form and recipe/creative expression submission to: Boboli Most Valuable Fan Pizza Contest Entries, Marina Maher Communications, 830 Third Avenue, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10022. Mailed entries must be received by 11/23/09. Limit one entry per mailing envelope. Each recipe/creative expression entry submission must be different. Not responsible for lost, late, illegible, mutilated, misdirected, postage-due entries or entries not received by mail deadline. All material submitted becomes property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

Entry Requirements: Recipe/creative expression entry must include the name of your pizza recipe, the ingredients, exact U.S. measurements and preparation instructions. Recipe ingredients must be readily available. Entry must be in English. Recipe/creative expression entry must be your original work that has not been previously published or submitted in connection with any other promotion, has not won a prize or award and has not been previously trademarked or copyrighted. Modifying, enhancing or altering a third party’s preexisting work does not qualify as entrant’s original creation. The entries cannot contain any unacceptable clothing or adornments, or display any commercial/corporate advertising other than Sponsor’s (including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names and slogans) and they must not contain defamatory statements (including words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic group); they must not include threats to any person, place, business, or group; they must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm, entity, and they must not in any way violate applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Submissions may not contain indecent behavior, profanities or obscenities, including but not limited to nudity, or pornography, and may not in any way disparage persons or organizations associated with Sponsor. Sponsor/judges reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any entry that, in their sole opinion, refers, depicts or in any way reflects negatively upon the Sponsor, the Promotion or any other person or entity, or does not comply with these requirements or these Official Rules. Submissions must be suitable for presentation in a public forum, in sole determination of judges and/or Sponsor.

If the entry contains any person(s) name or likeness other than the entrant, entrant agrees to receive written permission from any other person(s) featured in the entry (or from parent/legal guardian if other person(s) featured are considered minors in their state of residence) for Sponsor to use their likenesses for publicity including, but not limited to posting on website(s) and must make written copies of such permissions available to the Sponsor upon request. Additionally, if entrant is considered a minor in his/her state of residence, entrant will receive permission from their parent/legal guardian. Entrant must also receive prior written permission from the videographer of their video if the video entry was taped by someone other than the entrant him/herself. Persons under the age of 18 may not appear in a video submission.

OWNERSHIP/USE OF ENTRIES: By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees Sponsor shall own the entry submitted (including all rights embodied therein) and that it and its designees may exploit, edit, modify, and distribute the entry and all elements of such entry, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity without compensation, permission or notification to entrant or any third party.

4. JUDGING: All eligible entries received will be judged by a Sponsor-appointed panel of judges to determine (5) Finalists. Judging of recipes will be based on the following criteria: Originality: 50%; Ease of Preparation: 25%; Creative Use of Boboli: 25%. Judging of creative expression submissions will be based on the following criteria: Originality and Creativity – 50%; Appropriateness to the Theme of the Contest – 50%. Judging will be weighted as follows: Recipe: 50%; Creative Expression: 50%. The entries with the five highest scores, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the (5) Finalists. In the event of a tie, tied entries will be broken based on the highest score for Creative Expression.

Beginning 12:01 a.m. (ET) on 12/7/09 through 11:59 p.m. (ET) on 1/24/10, the 5 Finalists’ entries will be posted on www.bobolifootball.com. During these dates, website visitors will be given the opportunity to select their favorite entry to help determine the Grand Prize winner. Limit one vote per e-mail address per day. If more than one vote is received per person per day, only the first vote received will be eligible. The finalist who receives the highest scores from online voters will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken based on the highest finalist score as determined by representatives of the sponsor.

5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: One (1) Grand Prize of $5,000.00; Four (4) Finalist Prizes of a Boboli pizza tailgate kit (ARV: $500.00) Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prizes if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries. Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Prizes consist of only the items specifically listed as the prize. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Grand Prize winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is deemed a minor in his/her state of residence) will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility certifying that the submission is his/her own original work and he/she holds all rights to the submission, that the submission has not been previously published, has not won a previous prize or award and that he/she followed the Official Rules of the Contest and that he/she grants permission to post the entry submission online for the duration of the online voting period. Additionally, potential Grand Prize winner will be required to complete a Release of Liability, Prize Acceptance Form and, if required, a Publicity Release. All documents must be completed and returned within ten (10) days of attempted delivery of same. Winner(s) will be notified by mail. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner will be permitted. If any potential winner does not return all required documents within the specified time period, if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if any potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period, his/her prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner may be selected for the drawing at issue. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of winner. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Sponsor/judges reserve the right to: (a) use contestant’s name and likeness and reproduce/distribute all entries submitted in any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity, (b) alter, amend, edit or change entries prior to distribution and (c) use, distribute, reproduce, alter, amend and copyright entries for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prize, winner(s) (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) agree(s) to hold Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries and respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winner (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner's’ name(s) and/or likeness(es) and/or entry submission(s) for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners’ list, unless prohibited by law. Entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all liability and damages for any entry that infringes a U.S. patent or copyright, or any Trade Secret, or any other intangible property rights of any third party. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges’ decisions which are final. Entrants agree that any use of any trademark owned by the Sponsor in the entry does not convey a license to use such marks. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any promotion materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize. Sponsor reserves the right to revise the Official Rules.

This promotion is not affiliated with or sponsored in any way by the National Football League or any professional or college football teams. All photographs and videos were taken and submitted to Boboli.com by Boboli consumers and football fans.

NOTICE TO ONLINE ENTRANTS: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Not responsible for faulty, incorrect or mistranscribed phone transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user's ability to participate in the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program; or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration or security of the program as determined by Sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. If technical malfunctions or suspect voting/irregularities corrupt the voting process, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award prizes based solely on the Finalists Judging scores or non-suspect votes. In the event of termination, a notice will be posted online and all eligible entries received prior to termination, and all mail in entries received, will be included in the judging. Any damage made to the Web Site will be the responsibility of the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Proof of submitting entries will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Any entries which are suspected of being fraudulent (including those using robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods of participation) will be disqualified, based on determinations made solely by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation/voting of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules.
